This is my third time visiting this place, and the atmosphere remains just as enchanting. It's absolutely gorgeous and incredibly cozy. Lingkung Gunung, located in the city of Bogor, is a popular attraction for nature enthusiasts and outdoor lovers. Situated at the base of Mount Gede Pangrango, this tourist destination offers stunning views and pleasant temperatures, thanks to its location some 800 meters above sea level.

Even though it was the dry season, the mountain and the shade from the trees created a cozy ambiance that I couldn't resist. Instead of camping, I decided to fulfill my desire for a horseback ride. What's amazing is that the horses here can roam freely without being controlled by handlers. I never tire of coming back to this place, and I truly hope it continues to thrive and expand.

You'll find this delightful cafe within Lingkung Gunung Adventure, offering a perfect combination of camping and culinary experiences.

2. Horseback Riding: Unlike competitive horse racing that requires special skills, horseback riding for recreational purposes is accessible to everyone, including families and children. You don't need expertise because experienced guides will accompany you throughout the activity. Even if you're new to riding, you can still enjoy the breathtaking mountain landscape. The horses are tall, strong, and imported specifically for recreational riding, giving riders a stunning appearance. Keep in mind that riding in the Lingkung Gunung tourism region is purely for enjoyment and not for racing.

Situated on a wide region, some 800 meters above sea level. This popular tourist destination is located directly at the base of Mount Gede Pangrango. Location at the mountain's base means pleasant temperatures and stunning views.

Despite the fact that it was already the dry season, the ambiance created by the mountain and the shade provided by the trees made it feel cozy. I skipped the camping on my third visit in favor of satisfying my urge for a horseback ride. Additionally, the horses may walk freely here without being jostled by the handler.
